ReInHerit

ReInHerit is a European H2020 project that proposes an innovative model for the sustainable management of cultural heritage.

Since its inception in March 2021 and under the coordination of the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation, a consortium of 12 European entities, including the Sustainable Art Association, is working on the creation of a disruptive model in communication, collaboration and the exchange of innovation between museums, entities and professionals dedicated to cultural heritage.

The project team is creating a digital platform through which tools and resources associated with the sustainable management of cultural heritage will be made available. It will also foster a collaborative network of technical experts and researchers in the field of cultural heritage, connecting museum institutions and presenting Europe's tangible and intangible heritage to the public in its broader historical and geographical contexts.

The purpose of Reinherit is that any museum, regardless of its size and typology, can offer or find collaboration projects with other European museums, whether at the administrative, scientific, exhibition or educational level. Actively promoting the exchange of skills and collections between museums, as well as encouraging good practices and digitization in museum management are other objectives established in the project.
