DAR Project - Terres de l'Ebre
The DAR project is an initiative of the Asociación Tectónica Cultural in collaboration with the Asociación Arte Sostenible, which was born in 2021 with the purpose of empowering women artists in rural areas by providing them with tools to exercise their careers professionally, and betting on entrepreneurship and culture as a driver of local development. The project also promotes the creation of networks through the formation of an association where artists can carry out projects, exchange knowledge and develop their strengths.
In 2023, the Sustainable Art Association presents the DAR project in Catalonia in the regions of the Terres de l'Ebre, advising and training the participating artists, and promoting their personal and professional development.
The selected women will be part of a platform of Women Artists living in rural areas, which will make their work visible through the inclusion of their data and works on the project's website.
