uPaint
The main objective of the uPaint project, of the European Erasmus+ programme, is to strengthen the relationship that primary school children have with visual culture and introduce them to the world of images. To this end, the Hungarian entity 6water Club Nonprofit Kft in collaboration with the Sustainable Art Association has been developing a mobile application called uPaint since 2022, which allows users to digitally use and manipulate images of artistic treasures in Hungarian and Spanish museums.
The app allows you to edit and transform the original images into new and unique creations, applying your creativity to create new images. They will be able to share their creations with each other using the app and upload them to their own profile. Meanwhile, you will be able to discover the most famous works of art from past eras and contemporary artists. Digital manipulation can be done using a variety of image editing techniques, so that the exploration of the artwork and digital skills can be developed simultaneously, and children will be able to learn in a playful, fun and almost unnoticed way.
The project will also help to overcome intercultural differences and get to know the culture and people of another country. Discovering and interpreting similarities and differences makes possible experiences that strengthen European identity.
The project will result in students with a strong commitment to art. Their creative mindset will develop to live their lives in a richer and more open way.
